Year 10 Visit the Bodies Exhibition

Students doing IGCSE Biology will be visiting the Bodies Exhibition in Amsterdam on Monday 5th February. I’m sure that they will find the exhibits very interesting. It will greatly help their understanding of topics like digestion, circulation and respiration.

Welcome to 2007!

BodiesHappy New Year to you all! I hope that you enjoyed your Christmas holidays. I suppose the big scientific news in Amsterdam at the moment is the exhibition of Bodies. During the holidays I was able to brave the queues and cold to visit the exhibition. It was fascinating to see all these preserved bodies that displayed different aspects about us  such as our muscle formation, skeleton, digestive parts and so on. It really makes you appreciate what an amazing machine our body is. The displays are clearly set out and they have information written in English and Dutch. When I visited there were people of all ages there. If your into finding out more about your body then don’t miss this exhibition!

If you would like to find out more details about this please look at the following site.

** Helpful tip: Buy your entrance tickets in advance from a VVV. If you arrive without a ticket and there’s a large queue go to the VVV at Central Station(a short walk) and buy a ticket. You can then go straight into the exhibition without waiting in the queue.
